Last November 2009, Tablescapes got invited to feature the Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival. We had so much fun both on camera and off camera. For more details on what we did in Hong Kong, you can watch the Hong Kong Episode on the Asian Food Channel Skycable Channel 22 Tablescapes Season 4.
This is the best director in the whole wide world! Direk Pinggoy! We all love him to bits! Taken at the Po Lin Monastery.
Thank you to the Hong Kong Tourism Board for lending us a whole bus! We had so much fun going around Kong Kong in it!
We were able to meet Ms Jeannie Cho Lee, a Hong Kong base wine expert. She has contributed a great deal to South East Asia in Terms of how to appreciate wine with the local foods of the country. And has contributed to the growth of wine culture as well.
At the Harbor with Direk and Rita Leung ( the best tour guide in Hong Kong )!
Getting ready for my spiel
We were so surprised at the choices of seafood they had! Rita brought us a few miles out of town at Lei Yue Mun Seafood Bazaar, its a small fishing village where they serve the freshest seafood! We will make sure to take more pictures of what we ate when we go back to share to you guys. We were not able to capture enough of this experience.
Last group photo before heading back to Manila! Thank you Harbour Plaza 8 Degrees, we enjoyed our stay. It was a new hotel, although not in the main shopping district, they do offer daily transfer to Nathan Rd. And of course, the rates are not as steep as the ones in the Tourist area, they have good breakfast too!
