Ricotta and Egg Raviolo, just heavenly and a must try!
Every time we get the chance to go to SIngapore for work we make sure to drop by one of the famous Chefs restaurants in Marina Bay Sands. This trip we were able to eat in Mario Batali’s Osteria Mozza. What makes it interesting dining in these row of restaurants are the Filipinos who work in them.

We went out for dinner with Micheal Saxon’s family. He took us to Ocean Green Restaurant, its a simple place located in a hidden alley beside the beach. Micheal who already lived in Penang for a number of years missed the turn to the restaurant. Its beside some of the beautiful old houses in Penang. They say the restaurant was one of the first in Penang and is over 30 years old.
The satay the served was already pre dipped in the sauce and tasted good.

I love homemade sausages with sauerkraut and veggies. During the filming of the show for AFC we were always on the look out for good food around the area that we did not need to go to the Hawker centers during break time.
This restaurant is special, why, because the owner makes his own sausages. And everything is authentic. If you want to have a good german experience, this the the place to stop by the also have the original branch in Kuala Lumpur.

During the taping of E & O’s search for the next celebrity chef in Penang, I was able to taste the best Hawker Food there is. Penang is the mecca of Hawker Food. You can find the best of the best here.

Delicious is known for Malaysian comfort food, cakes and pastries. They also have continental western food, which is also very good. They have a wide menu that you can eat there everyday for a week without repeating any dish.

Chicken Rice is pretty much everywhere in Singapore. Every time we visit we always make sure to visit Boon Tong Kee and Jumbo Seafood Restaurant, they have a few branches in different parts of the City. There are some differences on the sauces and presentation of some dishes from branch to branch, but the quality of the chicken is the same in all of them.

For my wife’s birthday gift, her sister gave us a full day Hunter Valley Wine Tour, this is a must do if you love wines and would like to spend the whole day moving from vineyard to vineyard meeting the owners, interacting with them and seeing how wine is made. About 2 hours by car from Sydney, you start your day at 7am wherever the agreed pick up point is. Then have a short breakfast stop to have a quick munch before heading over to the valley.

Transportation in Sydney is very expensive. We recommend you buy the Multi pass, you can purchase in any convenience store, its best to buy the 7 days multi pass. Which give you unlimited access to all buses and trains within zone 1. Normally for tourists this is all they need. If you can drive right hand, we recommend you rent from goget.au, reasonable rates and you can use different pods within the city depends on where your destination is.

Do you think you can finish a whole bowl of Mussels? If it’s a yes then you should try this place, one of our personal favorites too. Located in the heart of Sydney CBD ( Central Business District ) is Belgian Beer Café, they serve great beer plus the best mussels in town. You can choose from Blue cheese, Provencale – Bacon and white cream and many more different sauces for the mussels.

I love RIBS!!! In Sydney, this is the only place where you should get your Ribs! We had to make our reservations a day or two before because if you called them on the day you plan to go, they are more likely full even on weekdays. See the photo above? Are you hungry now?
