Here are some tips of storing/ refrigerating Meats:
Storing raw meat: Raw meat and poultry should ideally be stored on the bottom shelf of a refrigerator. This will ensure that their juices do not drip on to other foods.
Arranging meats: Keep fresh ready to eat foods on the top shelf, and cooked meats on the middle shelf above raw meats.
Removing wrappings: If you purchase meat that is wrapped in paper, discard the paper and transfer the meat to a covered dish before storing it in the refrigerator. However, if meat is packed in a sealed tray, you can keep it safely in the tray for storage.
